Welcome to Integrated Care – our blog!

The purpose of our blog is to help parents and child care providers succeed in helping children with delays in their physical, occupational, speech, hearing and vision as well as developmental development.

We will be answering questions, offering general advice and even providing important information and articles that will help providers and parents by supporting infants through age three. Our goal is to provide the best advice and to assist through this blog and of course, through personal contact - if need be.

We believe this is the on line support will help parents and providers by personally addressing issues regarding developmental delays. We will be happy to answer questions in a timely matter and support you.

Our company is a highly respect company that provides early intervention for infants to children three years of age. Our goal is to work with families in our designated area of Western Pennsylvania to have appositive impact on the lives of families through our early intervention services. We work with families in 13 counties in Western Pennsylvania. They are Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland.

We believe that every child can be successful and our experienced professionals provide expert services to help each child reach his or her highest potential. This is done through a complete assessment and analysis of the child along with a personalized program designed specifically for that child.

We work with each family to maximize the success of their child. We keep the family informed about the progress of their child, write personalized plans for the child, and work with the child on a weekly basis.

Our goal is to provide each family with an easy way to overcome difficulties in a positive atmosphere. Together, with our therapists and specialists and your family, we accomplish getting your child off to the right start. It will pay off in not only your child’s future, but the families future.

We have opened this blog to help parents and caregivers by providing them with information that will assist in understanding how best to help overcome physical, occupational, speech, hearing, vision and developmental delays in our very youngest of children.

Integrated Care is an early intervention program serving infants to children who are three years of age. Our company is committed to maximizing the potential of each child requiring specialized services. These services may include:

Therapies

PHYSICAL Therapists possess a command of the physical body and offer help in sitting up, rolling over, becoming mobile, balancing, walking, coordinating movements, strengthening and posturing.

OCCUPATIONAL Therapists are much like physical therapists and address fine motor movements as well as support in feeding, sensory areas, cognition and posturing forms.

SPEECH Therapists focus on communication. This therapy addresses how a child receives and expresses information which can be a source of frustration for a child who has difficulty conveying his or her wants and needs. This therapy also addresses challenges associated with feeding.

DEVELOPMENTAL therapies address overall developments with expertise in issues of cause and effect, social interaction, attention span and behaviors that complement other therapies.

HEARING AND VISION therapies specialize in sights and sounds and offer practical tools to increase and/or adapt a child’s ability to navigate and adjust to other challenges.
